How we made a difference

The Brief

Bisto wanted an on-the-ground activation that would generate excitement, encourage trial, and communicate the unique, spicy flavour of their new gravy. The goal was to engage consumers in a way that felt natural, interactive, and shareable. 

EXECUTION

The On Street Activation

Our team designed a fully branded pop-up food van, turning high-footfall London locations into immersive tasting experiences. Over the course of the day, we served more than 800 samples of hot chips topped with Bisto Peri-Peri Gravy. 

Every element of the activation was carefully planned to create a memorable experience: 

  • Staff Engagement: Our team, dressed in branded uniforms, sparked conversations, shared product information, and encouraged sampling. 
  • Queue Management: With large numbers of visitors, we maintained energy, managed queues efficiently, and ensured every interaction was positive. 
  • Visual Presence: The branded van and setup drew attention, creating a strong presence and encouraging organic social content. 

THE RESULT

Delivering hundreds of samples takes more than just a van.

The activation successfully combined product trial, brand awareness, and engagement. Consumers left with a tangible experience of the new Peri-Peri Gravy, and the campaign generated local buzz and social content that positioned Bisto’s latest launch as a must-try addition to their range.
